Joanne L

Joanne is an abstract artist who mainly works with acrylic and ink, passionately drawn to the fluidity and movement of paint visible in every brushstroke. Her inspiration comes deeply from water, mirroring its flow, energy, and constantly changing forms through a continuous process of creating marks.

For many years, Joanne has collaborated with creative mentor artists Hari, Carney, and Loren, who bring their own expertise and styles to the studio, enriching her artistic journey. She also investigates tactile forms by making clay pots with one of her mentors, merging her love of texture with her visual creativity. Her artworks have been showcased on Swimmable, an inclusive swimwear range developed by Co-Art that highlights the connection among art, design, and community. As a non-verbal artist, Joanne expresses her ideas and feelings entirely through her art, producing works that are expressive, intuitive, and distinctly her own.
